Being the father of four beautiful daughters, TD (Tony) Wilcox certainly knows a thing or two about raising kids and keeping them entertained. Wilcox is the owner of Atomic Media Works, a marketing firm located in Corona, CA. After more than 17 successful years in the automotive industry, Wilcox dropped out in 2006 to start his own company. Atomic Media Works now serves the automotive and other industries with marketing, advertising and consulting services. His company has now ventured into the publishing space by self-publishing Wilcox' most recent and first children's book called "Tickle Spiders."

 

"Tickle Spiders is just a fun, crazy bedtime rhyme. It kind of evolved out of our own bedtime story moments with my two youngest daughters. They would howl with laughter when I'd tickle them and make up little rhymes off the top of my head about the devious 'tickle spiders.' My goal was to get them to laugh so hard they'd be exhausted and fall asleep fast...and it usually worked!" Wilcox says with a grin.

 

While Tickle Spiders is Wilcox' first children's book, it's not his first book. He composed a work of fiction in 2006 entitled "Nails" (Lulu Press) about an archaeologist who discovers the actual nails used in the crucifixion of Jesus. He also recently published two books about addiction recovery - "Break It Now! The Secret to Living in Freedom from Bad Habits, Negative Patterns and Addiction" and "Broken to Bulletproof - Finding the TRUE Man God Created In You".

 

"Tickle Spiders has been a fun side project - especially the audio production. I created a song version and a hilarious audio version of the book with an animated "spider" voice reading the text. But my real passion is in helping men and women that struggle with addiction," Wilcox states. His book "Broken to Bulletproof" outlines his own personal struggle and recovery. He also manages a blog that covers the same subject at www.brokentobulletproof.com. Wilcox spends much of his time working one-on-one, in groups and sharing his message of hope and recovery with large groups as a noted speaker.
